Our movement

Preserving Moroccan craftsmanship for the next generation.

Ebladi is a premium marketplace and cultural mission — connecting global buyers with verified artisans, women's cooperatives, and family workshops across Morocco.

Why we exist

Craft is culture — not commodity

Morocco's workshops carry centuries of knowledge in every knot, glaze, and stitch. Ebladi exists so that knowledge survives — and pays fairly.

We built a marketplace where authenticity is verified, stories are visible, and cooperatives can grow without losing their identity to mass production.

Our story

Born from a belief in real makers

Ebladi began when founders saw talented artisans undercut by factory copies sold as “Moroccan.” We set out to build infrastructure worthy of the craft — editorial storefronts, secure payments, and moderation that protects makers.

Why Ebladi exists

Supporting Moroccan artisans

Every listing is tied to a workshop or cooperative. Buyers see who made their piece, how long it took, and which region shaped its design. That transparency turns purchases into patronage.

Women's cooperatives

Women's cooperatives

Collective strength, individual dignity

From argan valleys to Atlas weaving rooms, cooperatives are economic engines for rural women. Ebladi gives them shared analytics, fair payouts, and a global shopfront without middlemen taking the narrative.

Leather artisans

Handmade vs mass production

Authentic handmade only

We reject factory goods dressed as craft. Sellers document processes — looms, kilns, tanning pits — and our team reviews authenticity before listings go live. What you buy is what was made by hand.

Fair trade & sustainability

Slow craft, lasting impact

Fair commissions, prompt payouts, and materials chosen with place in mind. Natural fibers, local clay, vegetable dyes — choices that honour both artisan livelihoods and the land they work.

Metalwork & brass

Cultural heritage

Preserving skills for generations

Zellige geometry, Amazigh weaving patterns, Fassi metalwork — these are living libraries. Ebladi documents techniques alongside products so heritage is transmitted, not only sold.

Editorial

Building a marketplace with purpose

“We did not set out to build another e-commerce site. We set out to build a bridge — between the hands that shape Morocco's future and the buyers who will fund that future with respect.”

Ebladi combines marketplace technology with magazine-quality storytelling. Our team works alongside artisans to translate workshop pride into listings that feel like studio visits — because when craft is understood, it is valued.

Artisans who shape Ebladi

Ebladi showed the world the women behind our rugs. Orders became pride — not pressure.

Buyers read about our zellige lineage before they purchase. That changes everything for our apprentices.

We are a family tannery. Ebladi let us tell our story without losing our name to a reseller.
